After a ‘thin’ couple of years for racing, it was great to see ten Isle of Ely crews racing in the final leg of the CRA Winter League on Sunday 12th March. The 2.6km course on the Cam – significantly more sheltered than the Great Ouse we’re used to – even saw some sunshine.

Very well done to the men’s novice eight, women’s senior/masters eight, four senior/masters quads, and junior single scullers Isobel Elsey, Millie Hurrell, Katie Jugg and Ted Roberts. Particular congratulations go to Katie Jugg for her first-place finish in the Women’s WJ16/17 single sculls!
