At Isle of Ely, we have four stable recreational coxed fours/quads available for hire. We have approximately 40km of river available to explore on the Rivers Ouse and Cam, from Denver sluice in Norfolk to Bottisham lock near Cambridge. Close to the club is the famous 5km straight where the varsity boat race was held in 2021. We share this stretch of river with CUBC and Kings School Ely. 

Aimed at experienced rowers, the boats can be configured as 4x+ or 4+. The charge for these is £25 per boat per day. If required, a coaching launch can be hired for £50 per day (exc fuel) The driver will need to hold a RYA powerboat level 2 qualification or equivalent. 

These boats are also available to be taken off site for boating elsewhere. The charge for this is £100 per day for the boats, oars and trailer. 

Boats will be inspected upon return for damage and/or missing parts and charges made on a cost recovery basis.
