Isle of Ely Rowing Club is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all participants.

The Club Welfare Officer (CWO) ensures that Isle of Ely Rowing Club follows its policies on safeguarding children and young people and on safeguarding adults, and is compliant with British Rowing safeguarding policies.

They are also responsible for ensuring that all adult volunteers and coaches are supported, that they receive appropriate safeguarding training and that they undergo DBS checks when required.
