Desborough Challenge medals!

Whilst on our rowing tour in Holland, Isle of Ely Rowing Club were honoured to be invited to take part in the Desborough Challenge at Weyfarers Rowing Club in Surrey. The challenge involves a course of approximately 6k with obstacles such as tight turns around buoys, a narrow coned area where we had to ‘ship oars’ to navigate it, and swapping cox and stroke seats whilst on the water.

Everyone was so friendly and encouraging.

We were delighted to collect our medals for being the fastest ladies crew and had lots of compliments about our rowing. Wow!
