Have you lost track of the huge number of fantastic quality blog posts appearing on the IoERC website recently? Me too.
There’s a neat solution using a very old web tech called RSS
On Macs, check out Feed Notifier which I use myself, or on Windows BalloonRSS does the same job, though I’ve no experience of it personally.
You configure them with the address of our website, with /feed appended, like so
https://elyrowingclub.org.uk/feed
and then you’ll got a notification – a little pop-up window – when a new item is posted and you can go check the new news at the usual place
(The apps should give you the option to enable notifications when they install. If it’s not working, enable them in the OS settings.)
There are probably similar apps for iPhone and Android – let us know if you’ve used one you like and we can recommend it here.
