Experienced rowers

The men’s and women’s senior squads cater for all those who have rowed previously, whether at school, university or another club, and are keen to continue improving and racing.

Masters

The club has thriving men’s and women’s masters squads for those aged 27 and above who can already row. We do not operate a structured programme for masters and there is no formal coaching. Contact captain@elyrowingclub.org.uk if you are an experienced master wishing to join.

We welcome beginners to join the club. You will be invited to join a 6 week learn to row course. Beginners will learn the necessary skills on land and the water.

Once you’ve completed the course you can continue to row recreationally or join a squad to develop to a competitive level.
