On Sunday 17th April the J18 girls quad(3 of us are actually 17 – but rowing with Bea means we enter as J18) travelled to St Ives to compete in their 150th Anniversary Heat to Head race. They had very kindly agreed to lend us a boat as the trailer wasn’t going it was just our crew.

The third and final leg of the Cambridge Winter League on Sunday 6th March brought well deserved success for IoERC. The Club's Women's VIII won their IM3 category and the Women's J18 Quad not only won their category but were the fastest women's quad overall. An excellent performance by these and all our competitors.

Congratulations to -

Callum McCulloch who won J17 1x beating someone who has consistently won over the last season by 5 seconds.

Emily May who beat her nearest rival by over two minutes to win WJ17 1x

Lucy Whiteside who beat her nearest WJ15 1x competitor by 15 seconds. Lucy has only raced twice in her single and has won both times!!

Many congratulations to our Sudbury winners:

 J14 1x - Alex Millard
&
 WJ16 1x - Emily May

Isle of Ely had a successful week at the Cambridge Town Bumps finishing second in the John Jenner Trophy behind St Neots.
