The Great Ouse Marathon is an annual long distance head race over approximately 21.5k. It is usually run on the first Sunday in September, when the weather is still reasonably kind. The 2017 race will be on 3 September, and the dates for future years will be listed on the British Rowing calendar.

All rowers are welcome to enter, whether you are a competitive crew looking for a demanding race or some serious training for the Boston Marathon, a novice boat looking for the experience or an adaptive rower looking for a challenge.  The Great Ouse Marathon is as challenging as you wish to make it.
